Organization’s ruling on the determination of domain name suffixes in the world, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ICANN alias, will be reported to rethink the controversial domain name “.xxx”. The proposed suffixes “.xxx” itself was indeterminable since 2000.

ICANN have already rejected the proposal procurement “.xxx” domain name suffixes three times. Proposals submitted by ICM Registry was originally going to make a domain name ending in “.xxx”, following the current suffixes such popular “.Com”, “.Org” or “.Net”.

Quoted from Top News, Thursday (11/3/2010), ICANN will reportedly review the proposal again. One of the underlying thinking is actually to facilitate domain “.xxx”.com parents or interested parties, to block access to the site.

If the domain is approved, then the ICM Registry plans to sell it at the end of the year 2010. They believe, domain. “.xxx” will be-sweet bestseller among adult sites.

A controversy also struck to another domain names proposal of religious type, “.god”. The Vatican has specifically asked ICANN to separate between religion and the Internet naming system.
